OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a Sr. Analyst to join our analytics team within Beautycon. The perfect candidate for this role is obsessed with perfection, enjoys analytical problem solving, and excels at working with diverse teams to achieve success. Job Functions:

The Analyst, Digital Analytics will assist in efforts to transform data and reporting into insights, recommendations, and results. The ideal candidate will go beyond reporting, peel away the layers of data, and suggest constructive marketing test and competitive opportunities to improve business performance on a regular basis.

Identify and document current datasets, source systems, points of contact, regularly maintain comprehensive data inventory going forward.

Collaborate with internal and external business partners to identify and acquire new datasets to meet evolving business needs

Prioritize and complete other tasks and projects as assigned in support of strategic objectives.


Job Requirements:

Skills/Abilities:

Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with business partners and colleagues.

Demonstrated ability to organize projects and bring them to a successful conclusion.

Expert analytic abilities using SQL, Excel, and other tools (e.g. Tableau, MicroStrategy, etc.).

Working knowledge of cloud-based data environments & tools (e.g. AWS, Big Query, Hadoop, etc.).

Ability to design and analyze data from disparate sources including but not limited to:  Google Analytics, Survey Monkey, Tribe Dynamics, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat, Netbase

Ability to write code in R, Java, or Python is a huge plus.

Experience:

Experience collecting, analyzing, monitoring, and reporting on qualitative and quantitative datasets

Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, Business, Advertising, Math or Statistics

5+ years in an analyst role with increasing responsibility in a startup or agency background
