Account Director

Account Directors at Beautycon are in charge of the client relationship end-to-end. From the moment a client signs a contract with us, the Account Director is responsible for making sure we deliver above and beyond expectations. You’ll get to work across Sales, Talent, Marketing, Social, Creative, Production, and Finance to ensure that all client needs are being met. You are their champion, you are their voice, and you are awesome at getting the job done.


Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee end-to-end client relationship and be the voice of the client at Beautycon
  • Create/Manage project timelines and deliverables
  • Work with cross-functional teams to drive the client’s vision
  • Manage budgets and work flow
  • Present deliverables to client including updates and wrap reports
  • Devise and execute strategies to help grow the partnership
  • Work with Talent team to find the best talent to fit their needs and budget
  • Manage client expectations
  • Update Beautycon team internally including management on client relationships
  • Replying to brand inquiries that have questions, and communicating relevant information in a timely and professional manner
  • managing all aspects of the delivery of a contract from talent, content, social, tickets, gift bags and production
  • Weekly or daily calls with brands including setting agendas and taking notes to circulate to the team
  • Follow up with all departments for updates and answers needed by brands, getting approval on updates
  • Leading up to events, introducing all brands to our PR team and ensuring brands deliver on any requests for press from Beautycon internal teams to be included in press release and PR information
  • Record and create editorial and social brand docs for editorial/social teams; all brands that have contracted editorial inclusion are placed on this grid
  • Create google doc - record each contract that applies, record all information editorial team may need
  • Send pre-social deliverables to each festival sponsor create unique bitly codes for tracking, work with social to create assets


  • BA/BS degree
  • Client management experience at an MCN a strong plus
  • Understand digital sales landscape to effectively inform sales team and media buying team on necessary refinements in process to meet key KPI's
  • Support sales team in packaging media and content
  • 3+ years experience in digital media
  • Strong track record of relationships with large brands and media companies
  • Willingness to travel
  • Willingness to entertain clients during events, evenings, and occasional weekends
