Sales Executive

Beautycon is looking for sales executives to promote Beautycon events and services to prospective clients and negotiate contracts with the aim of maximizing profits. We are in search for an ambitious individual with an entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to prospect and close new business leads that have been cultivated.  You will be responsible for maintaining customer retention while pursuing new sales prospects.

The goal is to meet and surpass the company’s exepctations to drive rapid and sustainable growth.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Conducting market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
Actively seek out new sales opportunities with retention clients
Build a pipeline of new business through cold calling, networking and social media
Set up meetings with potential clients with prepared presentation of products and services
Negotiate/close deals while handling complaints or objections
Increase retention level rate of current exhibitor base through strong relationship building
Maintains customer database for accuracy and actively maintains sales pipeline opportunities so that the pipeline is a true and accurate indicator of prospects.
Responsible for results reporting, tracking of projects and list development as well as data integrity
Performs additional duties during Beautycon Festivals: helps to ensure freight is accurately delivered, works with EACs and Operations to resolve set-up issues, reviews accuracy of signage, booth locations, unpaid balances and meets with all assigned exhibitors to ensure outstanding customer service .

 

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Strong client service with both telephone and in-person sales prospecting skills.
Ability to multi task in a deadline driven, goal oriented environment
Highly organized; excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and CRM management (such as Salesforce)
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating technique
Ability to travel approximately 5% of the year for up to a week at a time.
Experience in and comfort with a high outbound phone sales environment
Reliable transportation
